Design Concept
A combination of classic and humor: The Snoopy table lamp was designed by the legendary Italian designer brothers Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967. It was inspired by the character Snoopy in the American comic strip Peanuts, and perfectly combines cartoon fun with high-end design.
Subverting traditional lighting: Its iconic tilted lampshade design simulates the shape of Snoopy’s head, which is both childlike and reflects the Castiglioni brothers’ ultimate pursuit of balance and functionality.
Museum-level collection: This design has been permanently collected by the world’s top design museums such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and is a classic in the history of industrial design.
